From Digital to Physical

The milling process.

01

Digital Design

The restoration is designed in 3Shape or exocad, with marginal fit and occlusal contacts verified against a digital scan of the prepared tooth.

02

Material Selection

The appropriate zirconia grade, ceramic block, or hybrid material is selected based on the case requirements — strength, translucency, and shade.

03

Five-Axis Milling

A CNC milling machine cuts the restoration from a pre-shaded billet, achieving sub-20-micron accuracy across all surfaces.

04

Sintering & Glazing

Zirconia restorations are sintered at precise temperatures, then glazed and individually characterised before a final quality inspection.
